The Real ME!

I think its healthy for a photographer to get on the other side of the camera every once in a while to remember what it feels like, so I had my husband (and second shooter) take me out for an afternoon session.  We wanted to test out some new gear and grab some new shots for my websites as well, and just let me say….  I DO NOT like being on this side of the camera!  I’m not naturally a photogenic person, so it was hard for Cris to get shots I was willing to allow others to see:) but nevertheless, we had a great time.  We started out in Old Town Temecula and ended up in a field near Murrieta Valley High.  I’d wanted to get out on the football field and throw with Cris for a bit, but it was locked up tight.  Instead, we ventured out into a nearby field and made a few more shots of me in my football gear!  Anyone who knows me can attest that I’m a huge Ga Bulldawgs fan.  Nothing like the SEC, and I’m stoked that the season is approaching.   I can’t wait to watch a game or two with my friend and fellow photographer, Lilia Parker, who is also a bulldawgs football freak, marrying a guy from Ga and all…  Hey…    who ever said women don’t like football just hasn’t met the right woman yet:) Isn’t my husband a lucky dawg?

Ed Congdon - Don’t be so hard on yourself; you look great! I think my fav is the b/w shot (4th one in the slide show), but any where you’re smiling any having a good time came out really well. Bottom line is – don’t try so hard for the camera. Just be yourself…
